Installing Grease Cartridges:

Unscrew and remove the head cap from the barrel. Check the rubber plunger inside — if uneven, extend the rod handle fully and release it several times until the plunger seats level. Pull the rod handle all the way out and lock it in the retaining slot. Remove the plastic cap from the cartridge end and insert the cartridge open-end first into the barrel until the pull-tab rim meets the barrel rim. Remove the pull-tab seal, then replace the head cap. Release the rod handle from the retaining slot and push it lightly inward to prime the gun. Pump the lever several times until grease flows from the coupler.

Troubleshooting:

  • No grease flowing from the coupler: Replace the grease cartridge or refill the barrel.
  • Air trapped in the head blocking grease flow: Slightly loosen the head cap to vent the trapped air, retighten securely, then pump until grease flows.
